FUNDING SCHEMES FOR ARTISTS AND RESEARCHERS

The Institute continually looks for projects and ideas that fit the needs of our partners. We are currently running the following schemes which aim at supporting the mobility of artists and researchers:

Open call for artists: STEAM Residency in Edinburgh and Oulu

In collaboration with the Finnish Institute, the City of Edinburgh and the City of Oulu in Finland have established the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) residency project in order to build greater international collaboration between the two cities and to support creative learning for children and youth in both locations. Deadline 21.9.2020.

The aim of this residency programme is to support the internationalisation and professional networking of Finnish performing arts and audiovisual producers and their intermediaries. In the pilot call of 2019, 14 Finland-based producers were chosen for the residency.
