Roxy’s pick: Sauna on Brighton Beach

This May I will spend a lot of time working our Finnish Season at Brighton Fringe Festival. When I’m not working, I’ll sure be relaxing at the Warmth Brighton sauna. The sauna is built in a horse box and it is run by Brighton’s own sauna master Katie Bracher.

Warmth Brighton, tickets £10, Open until 3.6. For times and bookings see: https://www.brightonfringe.org/whats-on/warmth-pop-up-sauna-125051/

If you are passionate about yoga and love parks in the springtime like me, this is the right event for you! Holistic Joy Centre will offer a guided yoga and meditation practice in Green Park, open to all levels. After the practice I will join a nourishing vegetarian picnic with my fellow-yogis.

Bring a yoga mat, picnic goodies to share, and your wonderful self.

 Veera’s pick: Rooftop Film Club

The summer is almost here, and one of the best ways to enjoy it is to watch a film outside. There are several outdoor cinemas in London. My choice is Rooftop Film Club, where I can watch my all time favourite film Moulin Rouge on 10/5! Before the screening, you can have a drink at the Rooftop East Bar, and play games with your friends. What a great way to spend a warm summer evening!

Address: Roof East, 45a Broadway, London E15 1XD. Lounge Seat £14,95.  https://rooftopfilmclub.com/london/

 Oula’s pick: Field Day Festival

Strictly speaking my pick takes place in June, but this one needs some preparations: The Field Day festival has moved to a new home in South London and will take place in Brockwell Park on June 1st and 2nd. The festival has become a mainstay in London’s busy festival calendar and is again drawing a number of talented artists from around the world. There’s something for everybody with various genres such as hip hop, jazz and electronic music well covered. This is a must, don’t miss out!

1.6–2.6. Address: Brockwell Park, SE24 9BL Tickets: £44,50–85 http://fielddayfestivals.com/
