New colleagues at the Institute

The start of a new year tends to be a time of change and new beginnings. At the Finnish Institute, this year it has meant the addition of two new colleagues to our team: Annika, our project assistant, and Sanni, our new communications intern.

Annika Pellonpää is not really a new face, since she has worked as a part-time assistant to the director at the Institute for the last year. However, in January she started as a full-time project assistant. Annika has strong expertise in financial management. She holds a master’s degree in administrative sciences from the University of Lapland.

Sanni Lappalainen joins the team remotely from Finland due to the current visa regulations. She is a relatively recent English graduate and will be mainly focusing on communications during her internship. During her studies and after graduating she has worked as a part-time research assistant at the University of Turku.

We are happy to have both of them as our colleagues as we get on with the projects we have in store for 2022!
