The Finnish Institute in London launches Producers’ House, a new residency for producers. The aim of the residence is to support the internationalisation and professional networking of performing arts and audiovisual producers and their intermediaries.

You may apply for two to four week residency periods from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020. If necessary, the residency can be divided into two different periods, in which case their length is one to two weeks.

The residence can be applied for by Finland-based producers working in performing and audiovisual arts. The selection process emphasizes the applicant’s ability to build extensive networks that promote internationalisation throughout the field. The selection will be made in co-operation with performing arts information centres and Filmiaura ry.

The residence can be applied for by filling in the linked form, accompanied by a CV. Submit your application by 28 February 2019 4 pm Finnish time. We will answer any questions on 13 February 2019 from 12 am to 7 pm Finnish time at +44 20 3764 5090.

We will pay the selected applicants per diems (weekdays) and trips from Finland to London and back. The institute provides an apartment in central London for the duration of the residency period. No other compensation will be paid.

Producers’ House is a project funded by the Finnish Institute in London and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
