5.–6.5 Lumo Company: Fineline circus performance in Bristol and London

Fineline is a contemporary circus piece created by two Finnish tightwire artists Hanna Moisala and Anniina Peltovako with Latvian pianist Evalds Lazarevich. They will do only two performances in the UK, in Bristol on 5 May and in London on 6 May.

It is the fine line between balance and off balance. It is the fine line between being sane and being insane. It is the fine line between grotesque and beautiful.

Fineline is an exploration of physical balance while depicting a person’s mental and physical stability. This contemporary circus piece is created by three minds on stage, and relies on their collective sense of balance.

The balance of life is questioned on the thin steel tightwire and through body movement on the floor.

In spring 2023, Lumo Company launched its first Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collection. The collection includes a total of ten unique pieces of artwork: five photographs and five short videos of Fineline. Access the collection here: https://opensea.io/lumocompany

Lumo Company will also do a virtual reality residency at the University of Nottingham from 9 to 11 May.

Supported by TelepART mobility funding.
