Join director Virpi Suutari and professor Harry Charrington for a discussion on Alvar Aalto’s life and work.

AALTO is an enchanting documentary film journey into the life and work of one of the greatest modern architects Alvar Aalto. The film shares for the first time the intimate love story of Alvar and his architect wives Aino and Elissa Aalto.

Director Virpi Suutari and professor Harry Charrington, Head of Architecture, University of Westminster will discuss the film in a free Zoom Q&A. The discussion will be moderated by Charlotte Skene Catling, architect, Director of the architectural practice Skene Catling de la Peña, and Co-founder of Architecture Film Festival London.

The discussion is part of the programmes of London Festival of Architecture and Architecture Film Festival London.
