CANCELLED 20/3 Mika Myllyaho’s play gets a Brexit treatment at New Nordics Festival

Garage, a play by Finnish National Theatre’s director Mika Myllyaho will be brought to the stage of New Nordics Theatre Festival in London. The play, translated by Eva Buchwald will be directed by the young British director Lucie Dawkins. Her treatment of the original story about two friends from different social backgrounds will give it a strong Brexit flavour.

New Nordics is a new theatre festival with an exceptional production method. Six British theatre directors travelled to Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland or Faroe Islands with a mission to find a play not previously seen in the UK.

The event is cancelled.
