18.1.-11.2. Slow Motion Sauna at King’s Cross

Slow Motion Sauna (formerly known as The Finnish Sauna) is coming to Lewis Cubitt Square at King’s Cross for a few weeks. The sauna was commissioned by the Institute in 2022 as a part of the London Festival of Architecture, built by the students of the University of Westminster and architect Sami Rintala. After our sauna did a tour in the UK in 2022 and 2023, DJ and wellness guru Rob da Bank and his wife Josie da Bank offered to give the sauna a permanent home on the Isle of Wight.

Slow Motion Sauna is available for booking now, please visit their website here to make a booking. There’s also a chance to enjoy a Lithuanian wood fired sauna and dip into a plunge pool if you dare.

The Slow Motion Sauna is part of a pioneering, three-month campaign, Mind Your Brain, running from January to March 2024 which encourages people to prioritise their brain health to mitigate the risk of future health conditions.
