Emilie Gardberg, MA, has a wide experience in leadership in the cultural sector. She has previously worked as director of Turku Music Festival and as chief executive director of Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Gardberg has also been a fellow at Wilson Center in Washington DC, which is one of the world’s leading think tanks. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University in New York and a music pedagogue degree from Arts Academy of Turku University of Applied Sciences. Gardberg is especially interested in the social impact of the arts and teaches arts management and leadership as a visiting lecturer at several universities.
